Welcome to Woolwell Under 5’s Pre-School

Our mission statement

The Woolwell Under 5’s Pre-School will dedicate and invest all efforts to create a fun and educational environment for all the children. This will be achieved through the staff and parents with the assistance of the trustees and community.

Thank you for considering Woolwell Under 5’s Pre-School for your child/children.

We are only too aware that joining a pre-school is a very big step for a small child. It may be the first time that he/she has seen such a large room, met so many adults or been with so many children at one time. As a result of this we have introduced a key worker system. The key worker system gives each member of staff particular responsibility for just a few children. Your child will have one special adult to relate to, which can make settling into the group much easier.

Our aim is to give all parents support and encouragement. We understand that all children are individuals and some will settle easier than others. We will work together to help the child feel confident and secure with the group. We have always tried to make children with special needs feel welcome within our group.

• Fees are collected in the first two weeks of term for the term.
• Cheques preferable.
• No refund is given for absences.
• Fees are subject to termly reviews.

Staff

All our staff have been vetted and approved by OFSTED and have been CRB checked. All our full time staff are highly qualified and experienced. All are fully trained first aiders. Other regular training is made available to staff during the year. We help to train others who wish to go into the child care service.
